We’ve had a few comings and goings…. Gigi left us on Monday morning to fly up to Delhi and some adventures there and in Agra. We had a last breakfast together at Eve’s and then she made me leave before the taxi arrived so as it wouldn’t be too sad a departure. Shall miss her fun and wit.
Janet’s sister, Hilary, her husband Martin and friend James have arrived for a 2 week stay at Eve’s. We have heard so much about Hilary over the years but not met before. Seems like we have though…
Sheena and Dave arrived on Tuesday morning, flying in from London via Bahrain. They slept a lot of the day but emerged for a lovely dinner on the beach at Roundcube. Under the stars…. just a lovely introduction.
The Cypriot group of friends have started to go home also, only 6 left now.
Bob, Stuart and Eddie played golf yesterday at the Lalit. Pamela was going to play too but she has been laid low with a flu type bug. Bob improved his round by 19 strokes but still came third. He really enjoyed it though. It’s such a great little course.
Very hot on the beach today. Tonight a whole gang of us – 8 – went to Cow Corner. The other big gang went to Pahadi Roots to see Mark play. It’s not a big venue so our group will go next week. Anyway, each group really enjoyed the evening. Our meal at Cow Corner was just great. I had the crispy mushrooms with a dipping sauce. Bob had prawn spaghetti, All good. Washed down with Tickle gin.
