It was a rather miserable weather today. 18C grey and drizzly. We went out to Denny’s for breakfast (55+ omelette for me) and then headed up to the top of International Drive for an earlybird showing at the Cinemark XD cinema.

We’d booked to see Spiderman: No Way Home and because we were going to the earlybird, it was only 6$ per ticket which was amazing value for a premium film and great big leather recliners. It started at 11am. We watched all the trailers of course and there seem to be some great films coming in the next couple of months. We really enjoyed Spiderman. It was a good yarn, great special effects….. nice to see the old characters again. Won’t say more to spoil it.

After the film we went across the road to the hugest outlet mall in Orlando. Premium International Outlets. Just huge. Fi and I managed a good haul in J Crew and also Victoria’s Secret. I got Bob some great sweatshirts in J Crew. Incredible prices. We might have stayed longer but Bob has pulled a muscle in his leg and we decided the better part of valour was to rest it with ice packs before our day in Disneyworld tomorrow. We stopped at a big pharmacy on the way home to stock him up with some stuff.

Roast chicken in the apartment tonight. Hope the weather is better tomorrow.
