This morning Bob finished hanging the gourd lights on the dining terrace. They look lovely and we were eager to see them lit after dark. I spent a few hours clearing stuff out of the sitting and dining rooms ready for the painter to start tomorrow.
Bob dropped me down the hill about 1030 and Chris took me, Heather, Deborah and Sue to the spa at Lords Palace, the 5 star hotel in Kyrenia. We went quite a lot of times last autumn and they are still offering the same deal at the moment. For a tad undr £30 you go along late morning, can use the indoor pool, sauna, hamam, steam room, then have a fantastic buffet lunch with unlimited wine and cocktails and then an hour’s aromatherapy massage. Or do it in any order that suits you. The lunch is really enormous and you have to be careful not to overeat before the massage or there could be an explosion….. the massage was excellent, I really enjoyed it. It’s an absolute bargain day and so much fun.

Bob finished off the lights and more room clearing while I was out and then had Kentucky fried chicken as a treat. Obviously, I didn’t want any more to eat.
The pergola men came up about 530 to fit the new awning over the pool pergola. It’s looking nice. We can re-hang the curtains now, ready for the summer.
We lit the lights up one it got dark, although the moon is so full tonight, it’s still pretty bright. So pleased with them. Makes the terrace very atmospheric.
