We’ve had a good couple of days even though the weather has slightly cooled to around 70F which we now deem too cold to go to the water park!!!! Ridiculous really…..
Anyway, we’ve been running around mopping up attractions we wanted to do again and some we missed. It’s much more relaxed this week. We’ve got into a Disney stride and we have enjoyed just being in the parks without pressure. We’ve been back to Hollywood Studios and Epcot and today, Magic Kingdom. In Hollywood Studios we literally walked onto Star Wars: Rise of the resistance by utilising the single rider queue. Oh, if only all attractions had that. It’s such a great ride/show/experience. Quite the best one in all the parks in our opinion. Tremendous spectacle and on a huge scale. Tomorrow is the last day for our Disney pass and we are going to Animal Kingdom in the morning and then in the evening we will go to Epcot for their firework extravaganza which we haven’t seen yet.

Bob has had another round of golf at Oak Trail which he enjoyed. Today we went to the Florida Mall and to the Premium Outlet Mall to get some presents and purchases for Lucy mainly. It’s her birthday on 1st April and she wanted a new Apple Watch which we are giving her money towards. All the Apple devices are cheaper here – dollar for pound – and the pound is pretty good against the dollar at the moment too. Anyway, we got the watch much cheaper than the UK. She also wanted some Bath & Body Works stuff and that is always not only $ for £ here but you get extra great deals in the outlet malls.

As we are cruising home, baggage limits are not a problem so we are going home with a haul of bath gel….
Tonight we had dinner out at Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse which is a favourite of ours.Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse – Italian Cuisine in the US It’s a great atmosphere and the food is just excellent. We always wish we’d gone earlier in our stay so we can go more than once, but we never do….. Anyway, it was a great dinner. We had salads for starter. Bob had a caesar and I had a gorgonzola wedge salad. It was just utterly delicious and I loved it. Then we shared a steak dinner – a 24oz sirloin which came with a dish of pasta putanesca. I dont know how anyone could eat it all themselves. It was $40 so about £31. I ended up with a double espresso and Bob had the same with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in his. A very lovely dinner and I do recommend this place if you are in Orlando. We paid twice as much for the dinner at Charlie’s and honestly I liked this one better.
