Very hot day at the beach. Taking it pretty slow with the sun.   After a quiet year for travelling,we are about as pasty as we get.   Had a lot of good water bobs.

I am suffering a bit with neck and left shoulder pain. I can ease it with exercise but it’s very painful at night .  Pretty sure its the pillow in the apartment which is much too flat and soft for me.   Will buy a new one in Chaudhi on Wednesday.   They are only a few quid.

Bob is a lot better.  Just the unlovely dregs of the cold now.   Nice at the beach.  A pod of dolphins came right inshore in the afternoon and gave us a show. I had some veg momos for lunch. Don’t usually have lunch but these were yum.

In the evening we went to the beach movie at Nada Brahma.  It’s free.  It was Blue Moon with  Ethan Hawke and Andrew Scott.  Amazing performances from all.   Tells the story of a pivotal night in the life of the lyricist Lorenz Hart.  Very very uncomfortable watch albeit very powerful. Lots of movie easter eggs for movie fans.

The food was amazing as always.   I had a build your own salad: egg, beetroot, lettuce. Tomato, peppers, cheddar cheese and honey mustard dressing.  Huge and delicious.   Bob had their famous cheese burger with chips and salad . Incredible. More than he could eat .  With 2 large gins and a tonic and 2 bloody marys it came to about £17.
