Holi, Colours, New Arrivals and A Boat Trip with Eagles – Travels with Allie.
Grey and raining on and off all day. Not particularly cold but not a day for the outdoors. Bob and Stuart went to TopGolf in the morning. They can shoot unlimited for $15 each for 2 hours and that includes also playing the virtual courses. They had breakfast there too. Bob says it has improved his swing a lot.
They got back about 1230 and after a quick lunch we drove to the Mall at Millenia, one of the two traditional malls near us ie not outlet. It’s a very upmarket mall, anchored by Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and Macys. We had a good walk round and went in a lot of stores. I like to look at the latest offerings, but frankly, I’m only going to shop off the Sale and Clearance racks. I did manage to get a few things for birthdays and Christmas. Stuart managed to get his Rayban’s repaired and they also did some nice gift shopping.
The weather is going to remain gloomy and wet for the rest of the week before returning to normal service on Monday, the day we drive down to the Keys. So, no doubt there will be more golf, more shopping and maybe more cinema visits.
Tonight Stuart and Fi made dinner – marinaded pork tenderloin with ratatouillle. Very good.
