Joe went home in the early hours of Tuesday morning. We said our farewells and look forward to seeing him back in the UK. On Monday night we had a farewell dinner with Caroline and Mick. We met for sunset cocktails at Boomshankar and then had dinner at Magic View. The sunset was rather nice. For dinner, Bob and I shared a pizza which was excellent. The service at Magic View is just getting worse and worse though. They cannot cope with numbers. I think it will be our last visit for a while. Pity.

We’ve had two hot days on the beach just enjoying the sea bathing. Although, Bob and Sruart played golf again on Tuesday. Bob had a better round. Last night we ate at Tantra on the beach – 7 of us.The food and service were superb. I really like it there.

Today was mostly watching Daisy’s flight progress. She got to Delhi about 1030 this morning but then a long wait and delays meant she didn’t take off for the domestic leg till 8pm. As I write this she is just about to land in Goa but it will no doubt be 1am before she arrives. They will be sooooo tired. Still…. it will be forgotten after a night’s sleep and a day on the beach.

Tonight we ate at Zest in Palolem. It was delicious vegetarian food as usual I had the Mexican Bowl which is a sort of poke bowl. Yum. Very good food. Very hot night though and we were glad to get back to the cool of Eve’s.
