Our days pass in a beachy haze to be honest… blending into one long sojourn. We have enjoyed some lovely evenings – on the beach… in lantern lit gardens… 

Yesterday, we went into Chaudi to pick up our new glasses. I am so pleased with mine. Varifocal, anti-glare, scratch resistant, sunglasses and the others are all of that but reactolight not sunglasses. Top quality and I can see and feel the difference.

Other than that little jaunt, we’ve been pretty beach centric. Have had some lovely meals – Casa Fiesta, Ciarans in Palolem, Cow Corner and tonight at Sea Front. Will likely eat again here tomorrow, the food was that good. It’s been a joy having Gigi along with us. Great chats and many, many giggles. Ciarans had good live music and amazing roast pork which is quite unusual to find here. 

It’s busy in Patnem and probably everywhere this weekend as Indians celebrate Republic Day. Many middle class young Indian folk on holiday here for a long weekend.
