Stuart and Fi fly back to the UK today after 16 lovely days with us. The last couple of days we have stayed up at the house enjoying the pool and just relaxing. Wednesday night we went to the Rose Garden quiz.  Didn’t  do that well but Fi won a litre of Gordon’s gin in the raffle.  A good result!!! 

On Thursday night Bob bbq’d and it was a lovely meal by the pool with the big, almost full moon overhead. We had sheftali, the succulent Cypriot sausage, and kofta with potato wedges and flatbreads.

Friday was another lazy day after they had packed up. For our last dinner we went down to Tervetuloa and ate out in their beautiful garden, lit entirely by gourd lanterns. A gorgeous setting for some lovely food. And a huge dark yellow moon tonight.

We ate the meze option.  Stuart and I had the seafood special which is just lovely.  Fi had lamb kebab and Bob had moussaka.  All very good.  A lovely last meal together. It’s been lovely to have their company.
