Holi, Colours, New Arrivals and A Boat Trip with Eagles – Travels with Allie.
What a lovely day we’ve had! Danny my almost-nephew came for the day with his lovely lady, Heather. Danny is the son of my exchange year sister, Lisa, who tragically died at 39 from the cruel auto-immune disease, systemic lupus erythematosus. It has been 4 years since we’ve seen each other – we normally go about every other year, so it was so lovely to catch up today.
We spent a couple of hours all together in the apartment, and then Bob and I, Heather and Danny, headed off to a local sushi restaurant for lunch, and Stuart and Fi went to the pool for the rest of the day.

The sushi restaurant was pretty good. We had mixes of sushi and sashimi platters with Japanese dumplings, tempura, rice and salad. It was delicious and good value.
Came back to the apartment later for more chatting and story telling. We made margaritas which were pretty good, I must say. Heather headed home to relieve the dog sitter at 415 and Danny stayed on another hour or so.

Stuart and Fi got back from the pool about 515, there were more margaritas and Stuart made us a Mexican dinner of loaded nachos followed by chicken enchiladas, loaded with cheese and accompanied by guacamole. salsa and sour cream. Absolutely delicious.
